Basic Green Smoothie

3 Tips for smooooth smoothies (green, pink or other):


Put ice (if using) and liquid in first.

The blender blades will move freely.

Next, add your greens, with chunks of fruit or vegetables going into the pitcher last.

Start slow.

If your blender has speeds, start it on low to break up big pieces of fruit, then work your way up to high for a puree. For blenders with function buttons, pulse a few times before switching to puree mode.

Add more ice if you want to thicken.

Toss a few cubes in the blender if you added too much liquid. Easy fix.



This is the best GREEN smoothie known to man. Refreshing, low sugar and down right healthy! My secret concoction! Bwahahahaha!



Jamia's Greenie:


A few ice cubes

Apx. 1-2" chunck of ginger (I keep chuncks in the freezer to grab and go)

1 lemon, squeeze out that beautiful juice

Dash of Himalayan salt

2 BIG handfuls of Kale (ALL GREENS SHOULD ALWAYS BE ORGANIC) or other nice greens you like or might have on hand.

Liquid Stevia, 1 dropper will do ya...

1-2 cups filtered water (NOT alkaline, messes with gut acid pH)


Blend, blend, blend and blend some more.

Yummy, refreshing goodness!
